is it better to use traditonal handwraps or those handwrap gel gloves. if so why?

Traditional wraps by far. I have a pair of those Everlast gel wraps and they are garbage. Ive used them like seven times and they are falling apart, the seems holding the material that covers the gel is tearing. They're uncomfortable and have five different velcro straps. They only really protect the knuckles and not really the wrist, thumb and back of the hand area.

i personally like the mexican style wraps more than anything, they feel better on the hand imo.
