I was at a bar with one of my best friends from HS last night, reminiscing and it really didn't seem all that bad.

The best friends I've ever had were two guys I skated with in high school..I'd love to see them now..

I miss it occasionally, especially when I run into someone I went to school with.

No, I hated it.

Hated it? How so?
I didn't do anything in high school, especially my last two years. I got A's for doing a whole lot of nothing. I always got along with everyone in high school too. I always said I hated it at the time, but now when I look back on it, it wasn't so bad.

High school for me was too superficial. It's artificial and molded to create this fake atmosphere we called high school. On one side, you have your jocks and cheerleaders. To their left, you have the nerds. At the far corner, there are the overachievers and their laptops. Then these groups called themselves according to their hang out (or turf, if you will...) to make a mark on their territory. So the new kid will come in and think, "omg, I better not sit by the gym because I'm not in the Gym Crew."

What's worse is that everything you are in high school reflect upon your character as a whole, even though school is only a fraction of your daily life. A person who is smart is labeled as someone who can't get dates, etc. I'm glad that's done and over with for me.

btw, I was in the Flagpole Group.....

Nietzsche said that Our education system will be mediocre at best, for the same reason food in large kitches is mediocre at best.

I dicked around during highschool and did nothing. It was great. Then I just said **** it and got a GED. I never played to go to university and I am starting college next year. It was a great 4 years

I'm starting to get bored at school.
Perhaps its 'cause I'm at my 16:th year studying, or something, right now!

School was pretty good to me...got to hang out with my mates all the time, play a ****load of sports, try and chalk up as many of the girls in my year as possible(and get many a face slapping at the same time), dropping pens to check up my math teachers skirt, parties every weekend, 12 weeks holiday a year...compared to now, it was **** hot!

One of my favorite things to tell high school kids is, "Stay in high school as long as possible, cause life after high school is ****.". I'm gonna go enroll in a Grade 12 math class I think.
