PunchDrunk 11-12-2006, 06:23 AM 1 mile is not enough. And doing the same workout everyday, will quickly become counterproductive. 10 minutes of jump rope is in no way the same as 30 minutes of running. No way. From this, and your other thread, I sense that you are looking for some easy answers to some very complicated things. training is not that simple. I knew I had heard that somewhere, but as PunchDrunk said thats not necessarily true (ya see how I switched sides there lol) 1 mile is not enough. I'd never heard the bold said before...well in that context...what I have heard is if you work out the same intensity everyday you'll burnout/hurt yourself.... If the workout is very intense, yes it can lead to overtraining or injury. If it's not intense enough, it'll quickly become too easy for the body to adapt to "the shock" of the training(since there is no schock), and your fitness level can actually start to go down again. Training needs to be adjusted constantly, to get the results you're looking for. FIGHTING_FLIP 11-12-2006, 02:06 PM 1 mile is not enough.
