Piggu 11-07-2006, 09:12 PM Shows that Robinson would probably win nearly every fight between the two..... lol read the title again :D Southpaw Stinger 11-07-2006, 09:20 PM lol read the title again :D Well aren't I a prick! Still in the same sense my posts could still be relevent. Leonard fought in almost the same way as Robinson as he based his style on his. I'd still say Leonard would win 2 times out of 3. Rudypoop 11-07-2006, 10:02 PM SRL would punish "The Bull" and win a wide UD, unless he got lazy and Lamotta caught him. number6 11-10-2006, 06:56 PM Leonard by wide ud. RockyMarcianofan00 11-10-2006, 07:06 PM Leonard wasn't Robinson...Lamatta by a KO....in multiple fights I could see Leonard picking up a few.... Lubutheimmortal 12-19-2006, 05:34 PM Leonard wasn't Robinson...Lamatta by a KO....in multiple fights I could see Leonard picking up a few.... Sorry RMfan00 I can really see Ray Leonard running and jabbing his way to a UD. He will never knock Lamotta down. I see Lamotta catching Ray, and maybe hurting him, but it Ray plays smart and cautious (as he did) Lamotta won't catch him. I love Lamotta, but he was only allowed 15 rounds, not 100. ceboxer15 12-19-2006, 08:06 PM Leonard by UD. Dempsey 1919 12-20-2006, 12:29 AM Leonard wasn't Robinson...Lamatta by a KO....in multiple fights I could see Leonard picking up a few.... Jake LaMotta is one of the most overrated fighters in boxing history. No way he would "ko" Leonard. Leonard has one of the best chins p4p in boxing history, jst as good as Robinson's IMO, and LaMotta couldn't ko Robinson. Marvin Hagler who was a much harder puncher than LaMotta couldn't knock out a way over the hill Leonard. Leonard wins by an extremely wide margin, with LaMotta winning at the most 1 or 2 rounds. :boxing: :boxing: :boxing: Lubutheimmortal 12-20-2006, 09:16 AM Jake LaMotta is one of the most overrated fighters in boxing history. Dempsey 1919 12-20-2006, 07:16 PM Yep I agree with every bit,..outside Leo being = to Rob, but it was a opinion so not much I can say there =/ . I was referring to his chin. Lubutheimmortal 12-21-2006, 08:17 AM I was referring to his chin. Ah I must a read that in a hurry, or something because I missed that, and I mis read overated, thought you said under. I don't think Jake was over, he was tough, and fairly strong (low ko percertage thought). But yes I do not think he would KO Leonard. His chin against Robinsons. I'd still say Robinson had the better of the two, then again Leo's was tested against some mean hitters (Duran, Hearn's, Hagler, & ect)....so I maybe SRL did par SRR, It's hard to know for sure. M26 12-21-2006, 09:54 AM Jake LaMotta would have the advantage in size, but would be alot slower of both hand and foot than would Ray Leonard. Further, LaMotta would probably catch up to Leonard every now and again, but would not have the power to stop him. I agree with the majority in that Leonard wins this one. Ray Leonard by UD. wmute 12-21-2006, 01:48 PM Leonard would fight in flurries running away for the rest of the round. La Motta would not have an answer to that, just like the older, brawling version of hagler didnt. Hydro 01-10-2007, 07:59 PM SRL would punish "The Bull" and win a wide UD, unless he got lazy and Lamotta caught him. LaMotta was not a big puncher, and SRL had a solid chin. Addison 01-12-2007, 04:59 AM Leonard by UD. Jim_Davis 01-16-2007, 06:51 AM Leonard by UD. I second this phallusy 01-16-2007, 08:57 PM Leonard would fight in flurries running away for the rest of the round. La Motta would not have an answer to that, just like the older, brawling version of hagler didnt. ray leonard would make jake look bad, SRL UD vBulletin® v3.7.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
