1st lets look at the height difference. Silvia 6'8, Monson 5'9...how is that gonna work with reach.

2nd Monson is too small and bulky, why does he think he is faster than Silvia?
3rd the reach advantage, with monsons huge hulk arms and silvia's long reach not so big but long he will have a quickness against monson.

is this a mismatch to make monson look stupid?

IMO the only advantage Sylvia has is his size. If Monson can get inside, it's over. I also think UFC will not be happy if Monson wins, as he has very extreme political views.

sylvia should knock him out but stranger things have happened. if he has any type of sprawl/sub defense developed( which i doubt) he will KO Monson and its just a qquestion of when if Jeff cant get him down. If Jeff won, he would probably lose in his first defense anyways against either Vera or Arlovski IMO

yes that is true about the 1st title defense...yes that is a good question about if jeff can get him down or not. that what makes this fight so interesting...david and goliath matchup here. I go for the underdog on this bout...go monson.

In Monson's case they do. They have blurred out certain tattoos he has. He has anarchist and communist tattoos they seem to dislike.

Monson is not the type of guy you want representing an organization that wants to enter the mainstream. But I like guys who can't be taken at face value; it makes for a more interesting event.

I was about to say that about the countdown to 65, at first I was laughing that Monson was going to try to go up against someone that could just hold him away by his head, but Monson was doing some crazy training and I think now that Monson will win this one. As long as he can block everything Silvia throws at him, otherwise, he might be screwed.

ya thats the 1st time i seen a mma fighter pushing trucks, throwing big tires and charging towards someone for takedown with Elastics strapped to every part of his body, that is nuts. His training is hardcore but we dont know if he would still win this fight, I want monson to win this one too cause silvia is just a big steriod monkey. Monson jus has to get him down and work him from there, he should have his way with him on the ground cause monson...that guy....he's a mini tank.

The elastic band training. He should be very strong with good cardio.

GO MONSON!!!! i hope the snowman wins, though sylvia will probably knock him out. the height, and the steroids will be a serious obstacle for the snowman to overcome. monson is very strong, i think if he can get sylvia off his feet, he can choke him out or submit him, but sylvia's long body and steroid strength will give him more leverage against monson throwing him down. i would, though, more than anything, like to see the expression on dana white's face if monson were to win this match. i'll bet dana will look like someone **** in his cornflakes
