So, who plays this? I dont have this game because my computer is no way near what it should be, and I would find out the definition of mega lag if I ever tried to play this on my computer. Either that or smoke would appear from my computer as it loads up 10 pixels.

Nevertheless a great game. Haven't got it? Go get it; oh and all the expansions.

I think its easily the most addictive war game I ever played, not to mention the best online gameplay and community (surpassed CS easy now), with most attention to detail and stunning graphics.

Down side is the amount of time it takes Dice to bring out a patch for it... meanwhile everyone is exploiting the game and finding cheats.

Battlefield 2 sucks! though it has a nice graphics....but it reallty sucks...

Have you played it?

I tried BF2 for a day or so, turns out my version of the game was broke, so I couldn't play online, and I could only play with the minimum settings, it seemed overrated.

A mate of mine plays both and he said 2142 is alot better in comparison.

Yeah I have played both.

2142 is a lot more repetitive than BF2. Also its like taking a classic, like Tetris, and making it 3D. Although instead of making it 3D they have tried to make it cool with all new vehicles and storyline etc; it just doesnt work. Ask anyone who plays BF2 regular and they will tell you that it doesnt even compare to that game. Not to mention im not really a fan of science fiction type games, which this is. BF2 is current and up to date with all the new guns, tanks, helicopters, planes etc. Then you got all the expansions which just make it even better.

Online is where the game is at. Single player sucks compared to online where you are playing against really good players. Also they are human so there is a lot of interaction. Great for team based play, which I love anyway.

So yeah i'd rate BF2 way above 2142.

Don't forget this game has been out for barely 2 weeks.

Expansions do ALOT for these games, but the original BF2 seemed more lacking than the current 2142.

I like the 2142 better. But thats maybe cause I loved tribes.............

I love BF2, def better than CS Source even tho I like CS Source also. I find myself playing it for hours when I start it up and I don't even realize it. One of the best OFPS I have played. War Rock is more fun I think, not as good graphics wise but very fun to play.
