TUCSON - Singer Diana Ross was arrested early Monday on suspicion of drunken driving, a newspaper reported on its Web site.

A breath test showed Ross with a blood-alcohol level of 0.20, which is more than twice the legal limit of 0.08, Tucson police Sgt. Judy Altieri told the Arizona Daily Star.

Police pulled Ross over after someone alerted police to a vehicle that was swerving on the city’s east side, Altieri said.

Ross, 58, was cited for a misdemeanor and released, Altieri said.

Tucson police didn’t immediately return calls and pages Monday evening seeking further information. The Star said the case report wouldn’t be available until Tuesday morning.

Ross’ Los Angeles-based publicist, Paul Bloch, had no immediate comment, his office said.
