Man, do most of you have to pay around $50+ a month to train at the gym? Where I was at you payed the $50 USA boxing yearly fee and that was it.

Pffft, before I decided I wanted try out boxing I was looking for other regular gyms and they were comin' up the same price and up to $80 a month.

i pay $60 a year...:)

We had to pay $50 every January to renew our USA Boxing membership and we could work out with the club's trainers, none were ex-pros but had extensive am. backgrounds. We had 5 different trainers and worked out Mon-Thurs. Having different trainers however, was kind of a pain because they all trained different, so one would teach you to hook one way, then another trainer would be like "what the hell are you doing clown, its like this" got kind of old.

5 trainers?? were they all head trainers or 4 were assistants to 1?

No, we did not have a "head" trainer. We usually did only work with four, the main guy is also the Idaho Golden Gloves president and our club's matchmaker so he was usually tied with that type of stuff.

Holy crap, you guys don't pay anything. I pay $120 a month. I also pay $60 an hour for private sessions with my trainer, he's an ex pro, like 90 amateur fights and was the Armed Forces Champ in Europe in 1990. Really good guy. I usually do one or two of those a week plus the regular workouts in the gym.
