Depends on who..... it varies between one to five.

That's quite a big variation.
But I feel ya. It depends on who is calling if I answer at all. However, I usually let it ring 2-3 times before answering.

Thats why I have a woman...she can answer it!

yes but it vibrates 3 times, but sometimes i dont want to take it out and i wait for them to call back.

I use caller ID, 'cept the batteries are dead on it right now. So, I screen all my calls with the answering machine. ALWAYS LEAVE A MESSAGE! :)

What I want to know is how many times do you let it ring when YOU call someone before its considered rude.

anything afte 6 is rude . phone companies are set to let it ring 3-4 times before voice mail picks up the call and it is 5 seconds a ring. If it If you let it ring for more that 30 seconds you are an *******, or a man on a mission.

I think more than five times is kinda rude. Well, maybe not rude, but definately obnoxious.
