I'm not a pro or even an amaetur yet but when I'm asked to warm up for a sparring session I immediately start doing wrist curls for my forearms instead of streching or anything, my punch tends to feel much more solid and for the time being even quicker,it's been helping me but what are some of your tricks? or maybe even superstitions? c'mon let's share everybody!:grouphug:

I like to stretch and get a good sweat going before I get into the ring. Having a good sweat going is really important.

I used to watch Julio Cesar Chavez fights or Salvador Sanchez fights. At the same time i thought of trouble situation i would get in or being hurt and me recovering, also picture what i was going to do in the ring.

yeah lol I used to love to mimick salvador's style, the dude could rarely EVER get hit and when he did he was sooo well conditioned it felt like a tap to him, only person to ever hurt him was juan escobar and that was before he became complete as a fighter, but ummm...you know...we usually all copy(or in more proper terms - harmanize) our favorite fighters only to go forth and build our own.

I'mma be the first to admitt it probaly but I used to always run around my living room fantasizing being in a war with somebody who just knocked me down 3 times in 1 round and my face flundered with blood, then like I'd pull out that warrior spirit(you mexicans know all about it heh) and kick some serious ass:boxing:
