After Chuck beats Tito who is he going to fight next? No one. He's been fighting people who are not even in his class. What does Chuck have to gain in the UFC? Nothing. Chuck claims he likes to fight but he never challenges himself. In every one of his fight he is never aggressive; it is his opponents who make the fight exciting. Chuck is almost 40, his time is running out. If the guy is a warrior as he claims, how much money is worth sacrificing one's ambition? I am sure Chuck will get a high salary in Pride and unless he moves to heavy weight in the UFC (205lbs-and up as stated by the UFC) he is wasting his time and truly is a bum. Wanderlai Silva continually challenges himself. He beat Cro Cop once and lost teh second time, but he did fight Cro Cop. The dude even fought Mark Hunt. What the **** has Chuck done? Chuck Liddell is truly the world's most overrated fighter. I once wrote some shit on his website and they banned me. hahaha. I will never buy another UFC event until Chuck fights Wandelai or moves to the heavyweight division. Is he going to fight Forrest Griffin?:ugh: I like Chuck Liddell but I want to see him in some more interesting matches.

i am a fan of chuck and he fights that way as in not overly aggressive cuz that is his style he's a counter puncher and leathal one at that. but hell yeah i want him to fight wanderlie silva shit that fight will be one of the best in pride or the ufc ever!

Chuck has not fought a great striker ever in his career, he's fought a few okay ones, and in those fights he has either lost or was getting his ass kicked before his power shot landed. UFC lacks great strikers in the LHW devision. I doubt Chuck will fight for Pride again unless he's representing the UFC. I'd love to see him fight Silva but it doesnt seem Dana and Sakikaraba can make a deal on it. Rumor is after Tito he's gonna step up and fight a HW....

Probl;em is image is more important than ability/triumphs these days and it's the sole cause we haven't seen chuck/wandy yet..

Actually, Liddell was given an opportunity to fight Wand before. All he had to do was get through Rampage. And speaking of Rampage, I wonder how many fights he has left for WFA? I think it would be wise for DSE to bring him back for their USA shows.

Wand called out Chuck at Pride 32, and I think the announcement regarding DSE's second USA show and reserve Feb date is another way of saying "bring it on Zuffa!" That would be a big fight, but don't count Ortiz out of the picture. I dislike the guy, but if he's a little more patient on Nov., he has a better chance of taking Chuck to the ground...and from there, it's safe to say we'll see a rubber match.

And while we're on the subject of Pride vs. UFC; either Wand or Shogun could beat Liddell (or vise versa). But I believe Arona has the best style to best Liddell. Go ahead and grin, but I stand to my word.

IMO fighters should be-able to freely fight with different orgs so long as it in no way effects the org that fighter is contracted with..
for example, chuck can't go to pride for UFC title fight, however they could fight for pride belt if pride wishes.. In my opinion it will boost the publicity of the sport, help smaller orgs such as WFA, IFL get recognition and create so called "super fights" we've all wanted to see as fans.. While promoters also reep the benefits of hosting equally important shows..

I really hate how contracts restrict fighters from fighting else where for a single fight every now and again.. Were not limited to one job, so why are they??

I say Pride and UFC should hold a yearly "World Championship" joint card, rotate from Japan to the US everyyear. Match Champions against Champions and fill the undercard with some good fights as well...

I mentioned this a few years ago, but expand it beyond the UFC and pride and host a fight card (tourney would be unrealistic unfortunatly) featuring the best fighters at that current time regardless of the org they fight for.

I think the perfect opponent for Chuck is The Shogun. Wanderlai would be better off fighting Tito. I just want to see Chuck actually challenge himself.

A really dissappointing match-up was babalu.. Man i was expecting so much more from him.. he was on a roll until he faced chuck i think 10 finishes in a row?? hope he gets the chance to whoop tito.

He should also be fighting Dean Lister. Babalu had zero chance against Liddell. Tito has a 60% chance, but against each other odds are even.

chuck was already in Pride... he had a few wins but he got badly beaten up by Rampage Jackson... it was like a murder scene

chucks not Pride material. He was in Pride and beat Alistar Olverhime. I cant spell his name. They call him he Demolition man. Chuck was lucky in the fight that he landed his hail mary overhand right. Then he was in the Fight with Rampage Jackson. Rampage is a great fighter however each time he really stepped up he lost. Dont get me wrong he beat Kevin Randlemen and others Rampage just loses to the TOP guys only. Wanderli , Shogun. However When Rampage beat chuck it was almost funny. He beat him down old fashion GROUND AND POUND TO THE BODY! Chucks corner threw in the towel when he started to bark in pain.

IMO Wanderli would get Iceman with his knees or crush him with his Right. We all know Wanderli can take a punch and If I hear that Vitor Belfort beat him Im going to go crazy. Yes that was like so long ago. Wanderli is so much better now. Shhesh Belfort was just spanked by a welterweight Dan Henderson.
