They have good coverage, I use the newer high performance durahide ones. but have seen and hit people with the classic " old school " version. They seem to work.

It's the one headgear I wear all the time. Great coverage, greatvision, the small cheek pros don't block vision. I can't stand headgear, and evenmore with large cheek pros. My Winning headgear with the bar gives great protection, but the vision is tough.
