A better match up would be the 2003 Toney. Nevertheless, I think Tyson would have been too much, good style match up though.

Tyson by late KO.

Just because Sam Peters couldn't knock him out, doesn't mean Tyson couldn't. Tyson is a better all-round puncher due to handspeed, technique, etc. Tyson by tko.

For real. I think an early KO would be the result. What the hell is Tony's shoulder rolls gonna do against that kind of attack? He would be decimated. Trevor Berbick style

tyson early tko as said b4, prime tyson is too much for this "heavyweight" to handle, if there was no 3 knockdown rule i see toney put down a bunch b4 the ref steps in and stops the fight, 5 rounds is all mike would need against this joke of a heavyweight

Man you got it all twisted. Have you forgotten how fast prime Tyson was? His hand speed was blazing. And he was noooo slouch oh his feet. Conditioning????? are you serious?
Toney has never been in better shape than Tyson, He has always been a slacker in the gym even in his early day's it was a pain for him to make weight. And he loved to take rnds off. Please
The only strong point I give Toney is his defense. He is masterfull with his shoulder rolls and catching jabs and cute little tricky shit, But the aresenal he would be facing would davestate him. Too much power, and speed.
one of Tysons biggest assets was that there wasn't a heavyweight out there that could deal with his speed. And of all the HW"s since you wanna compare Toney??????

If James Tillis could go the distance with Mike, James Toney can.

I don't see a prime Tyson beating the Toney. Styles make fights, people that goes for the kill have always lost against Toney, also Tyson is not a big tall guy to bother Toney.

Tyson would stop him or even knock him out. I think Samuel Peter hits harder than Tyson, shot for shot, but Tyson would land so many vicious punches to the head and body that Toney would not be able to go the distance. Tyson would not like Toney off the hook once he hurt him like Sam did.

Doubt it would make the 4th round KO for PRIME Tyson
