RAESAAD 10-16-2006, 05:42 PM I thought I heard Huges would be fighting Liddell.........Oh well this will be a nice fight too.
Memorex 10-16-2006, 06:05 PM This is going to be a great ppv card, watching 2 champion from the miletich camp go down.... beautiful. I hate Hughes and Silvia!

I don't think Hughes will ever fight Liddell because he's too small and him and Liddell are pretty good friends. That's why Hughes and Franklin didn't fight after TUF 2.
St Pierre will beat Hughes and Sylvia will KO Monson. I hate that this is going to be on November 18th. I would really like to see this live but I'll be watching Pacquiao/Morales III.

I can't miss Pacquiao/Morales III, it sucks that they made it on the same day. Great job Dana :nonono:
flipside 10-16-2006, 07:43 PM is vera fighting on that card?
That's like 2hr away from my house, but they gotta throw somthing better at me than Sylvia vs. Monson for me to pony up the dough to go....

GSP - Hughes is probably worth it, i agree about sylvia vs. munson, though

better watch Pac-Morales, UFC will be shown on replays BTW.
TomRiddle 10-16-2006, 10:43 PM why does almost every fight in UFC ends up in a grappling wrestling match?
is wrestling the ultimate fighting?
enadeus 10-16-2006, 10:51 PM Damn that press release is at least 2 weeks old :owned:

Because it's MIXED Martial Arts, Full Contact fighting, where you fight standing up and on the ground....

Might be, but they called Rick and asked him if he could post it. :fing02:

Watch fights like Sakuraba vs. Newton or Diaz vs. Sanchez, I personally think grappling/ground fighting is as exciting as striking...

It's Tito vs Liddell, next.
Yeah, Besides, Hughes fights at 170lbs and Liddell fights at 205lbs...
Toddo1970 10-17-2006, 07:18 AM Hughes over GSP by GNP! Round 4.
Toddo1970 10-17-2006, 07:19 AM I agree, to really truly understand and appreciate the sport you must respect and enjoy the ground game. If you can neutralize your opponent then IMO that is domination. Just like Silva dominated in the clinch, I think Hughes will dominate on the ground.
LHWchamp5 10-17-2006, 08:30 AM Try to educate yourself a bit before diving into a sport.. IF you likke watching peeps get KTFO'd.. go watch bum fighting or something.
