watched ken/tito3 last night and i had to laugh at how they tried to boost that fight and the demographic they were targeting??

Using words like "arch enemy" and "bitter rivalry" made me realize how truly pathetic the UFC is and they really shouldn't target 6yr olds.. REason i say 6yr olds is well because i was watching ninja turtles with my lil nephew early saturday morning and I heard the same phrases on that cartoon, so either UFC has hired the script writers from ninja turtles, or they cant find a mature audience and are now targeting children..

Mike goldberg keeep up the good work in the UFC maybe you can make others feel the way i do..

mike goldberg for the PRez of NAMBLA

i agree, the way they do things is done quite poorly compred to boxing but thats because they havn't been doing it as long... And i find it a joke that they fought three times and people failed to realize that the outcome wouldn't be any different. They do a good job though of hyping their champions to making them seem incredible... like Rich Franklin. He's good but i knew someone would come along and destroy him because the UFC does not have the best guys in there yet. Hughes will also be exposed. the only champ i can see doing well still is Liddell.

Guy this is a bit unfair if u think about some of the things boxing has said about fights like....Harrison vs Brodie "A REAL FIGHT" no it wasnt harrison beat his ass cos he was to light to fight scott, de la hoya vs hopkins " for these to men its more than a fight its about HISTORY" that should hav been for these to men its more than a fight its about MONEY!!! Taylor vs Hopkins 2 " no respect" that really is jst shit cos well there was respect at alot of it, carl thompson vs david haye " dont blink" try "dont fall asleep" and sanders vs klitSLOW - the men who would be king, none of them where, would be are ever could be king, UFC has got 5 titles? if ur number one contender you get a shot, if you win u get the belt, if you lose you dont get the belt, if your the champ you fight number one contender no questions asked, you cant duck you cant run, there is 1 belt for every weight, boxing needs to fix their shit and get into the ufc way of running things. ufc is takin over boys and i hate that fact but i love ufc

Marketing hype is all. It's been around forever in all combat sports. I don't like it either - but, it's always been prevalent(sp?) in America.
