I tried drafting guys who fill up the stat sheet. What do you guys think? Also post your team here as well.

Your team may be average in your league in scoring points but they do everything else well. Depending on how you're doing a month or so into the season you may want to package your guys for a consistent 20+ ppg scorer.

And you should mispell fantasy, that would attract more people to this thread.

only thing I didn't draft was that one explosive scorer. I had the eight pick in the draft. I thought I did pretty good.

Charlie was a steal he can do a lot for a big man. And Dwight Howard is gonna be an all-star this year. Miller is out though, but when healthy he is a good all around fantasy player. Especially at the center position.

It's cool I can't remember my first league but, I don't think my team did that well. I don't know how long Gasol will be out. But, check in free agency if Warrick is available, he's played well. And M. Willaims is a good point guard. If you want another guy with assists see if Ford is available. Somebody in my league dropped him and I was quick to pick him up.

brutal trade. who do you pick up from FA to replace camby's production? kidd gives you more than barbosa, butler and camby (i would imagine) give you more production than matrix (who is a 8 category guy to his credit) and some FA.

I just got Camby yesterday and the only reason I got him was to make the deal for Marion work cause thats who dude wanted. I have Brand and Gasol who give me good scroing and rebound numbers.

and the thing with Camby is how long till he goes down? cause you know he's gonna go down its just a matter of time.

Now that I think about it...I'd probably do the same thing as I hate Kidd and his alien baby. Marcus Camby will throw out his back while sleeping...again. Butler is a stud though.

It's hard to separate fantasy basketball from real basketball. I have kids coming up to me talkin like, "dude Mike Miller is one of the best basketball players in the NBA this year!"

It's like...uh lay off the pipe kid. The real game of basketball is much different than fantasy numbers.

I would have held on to Kidd but if you needed something else why not. So I was able to pick up Bynum, Dalembert, and Mutombo. Mutombo has been on a good streak lately. He's been getting boards in double figures nightly. He was a real good pick up for me. I'm in fourth place right now. But injuries have been killing me. Mo Williams was out for a couple of weeks, Odom was out for a month and change, Bosh was out for a while maybe like 10 to 12 games, JR Smith got suspended for 10 games, Ford has been having ankle problems and Maggette has been off an on with his ankle. And recently Jamison is out 3-6 weeks that's ****ing great. And what sucks is there is no more injured list in the NBA. So if you value a guy you have to hold on to him.
