Franklin was hurt after the knees to the body and so he couldn't do anything, you can see the exhausted look on his face, but he stayed in and got his nose broken. He was probably in too much pain to throw an uppercut and defend himself. If some clown holds me in the thai clench i'm: throwing uppercuts to his chin, block with one hand and right hands to the body but over the blocking hand, or I just beat the body from both side relentlessly, or simply lean forward and escape, or foot stomps. You could even bear-hug and squeeze the life out of your opponent.

I think Mike Swick will probably take Silva because he is light and quick but as stupid as he is, I think he might be the victim of another Silva beatdown.

that was a sick sub by chonan to end a great fight..
IMO franklin look hurt befoe the fight.. The guy had a black eye, both ankles taped and wasn't moving well at all.. The knees to the body really hurt him and I wlould like to see a hospital report on him just to see the injuries.
