Silva's striking game was too much for Franklin. I knew Franklin couldn't stand with Silva. My prediction was made before Silva destroyed Leben.

Franklin was out-matched. When he stepped in the ring he looked flabby and sluggish. The spider isn't The Spider for nothing. Next Matt Hughes will be beaten to a pulp by St. Pierre and Monson might just kill Sylvia. This event was not so good, except for the Sherk fight, but yet again it was nothing exciting.

i think rich franklin is an elite fighter.....just got beat by someone superior....this dude is on a warpath...wonder who's next?

I knew silva could win the fight by finishing, surprised however by the dominating fashion it was done in.. Lets hope silva keeps up his training I like old pride guys holding UFC belts.. makes the champs seem more ligit IMO.

Best fighters come from PRIDE. Anderson Silva is a proudct of that. Nuff said.

LOL @ Whoever said Rich isn't Elite. I knew this fight would be a tough one for him though, I expected it to be more competitive. But for every fight like Anderson has like this, he has a shitty one soon after. I hope he broke the curse.....

Franklin is a GREAT fighter he will go down as one of the best MW fighters but he looked really discourgaed in the fight... kinda like tavrer when he fought b-hop
I was really dissapointed and felt bad for Rich.. i'm also a HUGE Silva fan but to see rich lose like that it made me sad.

I have to say Silva sure came ready but i knew something was wrong with rich by the way he entered the ring. What i mean by that is that he looked really discouraged kinda like how tarver was in the hopkins fight.
Congrads to Silva for winning and good luck to him i'm sure he'll dominate for awhile.

Hope franklin comes back strong because in his llast 2 fights he didn't show up like he usally doese.

I don't think Rich was prepared for the knees. Once Rich was hurt it was over. I bet if they meet again Rich beats his ass sensless. Silva is a great fighter, but this is the same guy who got beat by Ryo Chonan. He does not have the balls to stand and face Liddell, please. Rich made the mistake of trying to size him up the old fashion way, with stupid jabs. Rich was slow and he paid for it.

That's a stretch concidring Liddell's weight class is 25 pounds heavier and by fight time he'd be 40-50 pounds heavier...

wehn you talk about chonan you say it as if the guy is a can or is garbage??
just remember this is the same guy that went almost 20min with A.Silva before subbing him with with an out of no where heel-hook..
Just because chonan got KO'd twice really quickly just means he got in the right spot by a guyy with KO power. I like chonan and hope he does well.
