Both men in their prime, how could you guys see a match between Evander Holyfield and Ken Norton going?

Tricky one. Norton gave non hard punchers hell! Look at the trouble a shot Norton gave a prime Holmes, his aggressive counterpunching style always troubles guys who like to box.
This is a close call.

Thats not such a bad claim when you look at his record/accomplishments/level of opposition.

i believe he would have knocked bowe out in the 3rd fight if it werent for hepeatitis or something it made holyfield have energy gains and loses

this is a tought one both big and both strong they could both probaby take each others punches all night long but i think the higher workrate would come from holyfield holyfield by UD but probablky a close one

norton's dodgy chin and holyfield's heart would be the deciding factors in this fight

holyfield by late stoppage

norton could probably take holyfields punches all night he was only really troubled by real big hitters, alot like frasier in that repsect

i agree

holyfield was hardly a power puncher but as the match wore on i can see the amount of punches holyfield lands begining to hurt and norton being dispirited as he sees that holyfield will not bow down

so i'll still stick with holyfield by late stoppage

I think this would be a fantastic fight both so so strong i dnt think norton had a bad chin if u look at the punches he had 2 take wen he did get knocked out he had a good right hand himself and Holyfield had a very good hook in his prime i dnt no wot happens. Maybe Holyfield by UD.

Evander Holyfield would be a handful, but I believe Ken Norton would be victorious in this fight. His biggest drawback was his tendency to "freeze" against heavy hitters, and Holyfield was no heavy hitter. Against boxers, Norton was not an easy foe. He gave an ageing Muhammad Ali hell in three fights, and proved his style to be more than awkward. I think he would be able to get the nod from all three judges against Holyfield, after a hardfought and actionpacked fight.

Ken Norton by UD.
