He's only in because he was the first superfight Champion, he never really held any belt. Dan Severn is in the Hall of Fame too so **** it, let Ken be in...

Dude, give the guy credit. No one knew what MMA was until Shamrock went to the WWF. Then millions and millions were exposed. Then they brought Dan over to continue the feud...and he shocked the sports world when he said...naw, keep yer fake ass rassling..i CHOOSE to go back to the real deal...

Sure, there were hard core fans...but Shamrock made it legit. He only won the belt once.

Wow...that makes him just a piece of shite eh...

yes shamrock does belong in the ufc hall of fame , he was and probably still the most recognized fighter that fought in the ufc. From ufc 1 to ufc 64, not the best fighter nowadays but still a dangerous man.

anyone who was a star in the origination of the sport deserves a shot to be in

He may not have been a 'great' fighter, but he would fight anyone. He was top tier level in the early UFCs and even trained some successful fighters (Telligman, Burnett, Mezger, Williams). He was ahead of the curve in mma, but he failed to evolve in my opinion. He also was very instrumental in the growth of mma.

I feel he deserves it.

Was part of some of the biggest draws in MMA. Shamrock/Gracie, Shamrock/Severn, Shamrock/Ortiz...even though he never lived up to the hype somewhat, he should be in the HoF IMO just for being a part of every major step forward the UFC has made

i think he deserves to be in the ufc hof.... but PERSONALLY, i think he is overrated... and most of the time he failed to deliver in the big fights....
