GameStop and EB Games will begin accepting limited pre-orders for the PlayStation 3 console on Tuesday, October 10, on a first come, first served basis. Due to extremely limited supply, we expect to deplete this allocation very quickly, most likely in minutes. We will not accept additional pre-orders at this time. To avoid an unnecessary trip we strongly recommend you call your local store to determine availability. A $100 reservation deposit is required, which can be funded with cash, credit or trade. As we cannot control production and shipping issues by the manufacturer, a reservation deposit does not guarantee receipt of a system available to purchase at launch. Reservations/Purchases are limited to 1 per household.

Our limited online pre-order program will be announced at a later date, after software and accessory availability dates are confirmed. Online product pricing and availability will vary and will be fulfilled independent of store reservations.

call both gamestop and eb games to make sure if they're going to accept pre orders. you dont want to miss work and then find out they didnt have any

I think ima wait till like early 2007.. Because the early versions are always the ones to mess up.. Then they fix them up... Like the PS2.. When it was 1st released they worked. But then some of them stopped reading disc's.... But hey i might be wrong.. But ima wait 1Q of 2007

i got that ***** on reserve ahahha. there was only 8 slots at the store i was at and i was the 7th one instead of 8th cause this lady didnt have no money in her checking account so she was seeing if she can use a credit card so i went before here. i got there at 10:00a.m when the store opened and 7 ppl already beat me.ahahaha

Thats crazy. You could save 200 bucks and get the 360 version of those games. At least buy a PS 3 for exclusives. Also how can you not be decided over what basketball game to buy? Live has not had one review that was better then 2k7. I’m not saying anyone should make to much out of game reviews unless its across the board. With these two games its across the board around the class room and back again.

theres not going to be alot of them going out i was told. and the pre-reservation thing ended in literally minutes. just gives u a hint on how crazy it will be on launch day.:banana: i might even up it to 2,000 if i can:banana:

theres some guy selling a preorder on ebay for 1500.

I was thinking about buying three of them for that very reason after I saw 360's selling like that on Ebay but I'm too broke and even if I had the cash my girl would freak. She knows I would want to keep one.
