Anyone else planning on seeing this movie?

I am, I can not wait.

oh yeah. I have that whole ****ing week off. I have to go get like 10 tickets in the morning while my friends are in work. Nobody I know wants to miss this.

I finished the book not to long ago. I can't wait to see how they put this on the big screen.

Especially looking forward to seeing Gollum and the Ents.

I particularly want to see Shelob myself. Tanner: did you have difficulty reading that book? it seemed liek it dragged through the whole trilogy. I dont even recommend the books to people, I say stick with the movie.

I didnt like the Trilogy. Im a bigger fan of the Dragonlance stuff.

I am going to see the movie.

When i saw the preveiw at the moives ... I got goose bumbs, and 2 drops of pee came out.

I like the books more than the movies. Way more detailed.

The Two Towers is supposed to be a lot different than the book though. More so than any of them.

Yes, I am looking forward to seeing Shelob as well.

But something has to be said for seeing the world, that was only in your mind, on the screeem and very well done.

I think Peter Jackson did an incredible job making the LOTR's into a movie. NO ONE could have done a better job.

when new line cinema gave Peter Jackson the money to do the movies they were on the verge of going down. they realeased three bomb movie in a row and needed him to pull through.

when they first promoted it in New Zealand, Jackson was putting up old posters of his movies at the movie premier. the president of Newline saw it and thought "oh my God, he is boosting the movie using "Bad taste" adn "Dead-Alive" im gonna be ruined" He laughed later on adn said he was dead wrong as he was about to release the 21 centuries "Star Wars"

This will go down as the best trilogy ever.

Matrix is a hard runner up. The Terminator one is gonna blow next movie. The Terminatrix sounds liek something out of Austin Powers.

I just wish they weren't turning it into such a love story... sticking to the book would have been better.

The first movie pissed me off since lots of **** was different than in the book. It was still good though.

Conan the Barbarian, Conon the Distroyer, Willow.

I think that Peter Jackson actually giving the chracters feelings is a nice touch. In the books Tolkien is over descriptive when it comes to landscape and the such but his battle scenes were not really detailed.

Willow wasnt part of conan.

This will be the best trilogy ever in my eyes, and I think in the eyes of the majority. The first time i read the hobbit I was in the 5th grade, these books have been an unfluence on me.

The original Star Wars trilogy is the only runner up in my eyes.

Matrix 2 is going to suck! I will see it, but it would be like making fight club 2. It should not happen, leave well enough alone you greedy movie making bastards and come up with an original story line!

I couldn't dissagree with you more, bzob. I saw a trailor for the Matrix II and got very excited.........yes, I popped wood.

The first matrix was only the primer, it was setting the scene - if you look at it, what did they really accomplish? Nothing! The found Neo and that was IT.

The next movie and the third will focus on freeing the human race. Imo, I think the 3 matrix movies won't surpass the LOTR series, but I think they will be able to stand more on their own individually - LOTR is just like one huge ****ing movie split into 3 parts, just like the book originally.
