I need some suggestions. I need about 20 grams of protein per serving of a protein shake mix. I would prefer that they be sweetened with anything that isn't sugar, glucose or fructose (aka artificially sweetened). I'm drinking Optimum Health's 100% Whey Gold Standard.

Any suggestions?

i dunno much about makin a tasty one, but one thatd be really good for you would be with two scoops of your whey protein, a scoop of l-glutamine, and a spoonful of flaxseed oil. all dropped into milk.

my buddy, who's special forces in the army, swears by this.

doesnt taste so great, but if youre chugging it like you should itll be fine.

What's so good about whey protein and flaxseed oil? I have been reading a lot about it.

But I bought a huge container of this stuff for only 20 bucks.

Also, where do you guys buy your shakes from?

you need to get natural no flavor whey protein, mix it witha banana, a cup of water and some frozen fruit of your liking, maybe add apple or orange juice with it if you want, thats how i do mine and i love them

Whey protein digests fast, so it allows you to take more throughout the day, if you like...it is also good for pre and post workouts to get the nutrients into the body and digested quicker than food would be.

I would also suggest FISH OIL pills, especially if you don't have enough "Fats" in your diet...try Nuts and Olive Oil as well

For Flaxseed, just type it in on GOOGLE or YAHOO and read all about the importance.

For Protein Shakes, Designer Protein and Met-Rx are some of the name brands I use...there are so many on the market, but there are a lot that are a waste of money...Whey Protein Isolate and Peptides are high quality.

This shake is one of the, if not the best whey protein about at the moment. Most pure protein shakes contain a small amount of sugar (carbs)

My suggestion is drink up.The other alternatives are artificial sweetners, Aspartame,Acesulfame K are usually the alternatives. These equal bad health and tumors.
