He is NOT overratted. No one should have any p4p list without Floyd being #1 or #2.

Floyd has beaten

Legit top ten guys like N'Dou, Augustus and Sosa

His Big wins
Genaro Hernandez(WBC 130 champ at the time)
Angel Manfredy(who was coming off a win over Gatti)
Goyo Vargas(Former WBC featherweight champ)
Diego Corrales(IBF jr Lightweight Champ and future WBO jr Lightweight and WBO Lightweight champ)
Carlos Hernandez(Future IBF jr Lightweight Champ)
Jesus Chavez(Future WBC jr Lightweight Champ)
Jose Luis Castillo(WBC Light weight Champ and Future WBC Light weight Champ)

Thats 4 fighters who went on to be Champions after there fights with Floyd. Both Corrales and Castillo are now top 10 p4p fighters. I thought Floyd lost the 1st Castillo fight, but he cameback and was flat out dominate in the rematch and you got to give hium credit than that. We all know Corrales is a great fighter and Floyd flat out destroyed him dropping him 5 times and making him just look plain foolish at times.

Floyd deserves nothing but respect from hardcore fight fans. You may think he is an ass or whatever, but you cant knock his resume or his talent and if you try and do so your only going to make yourself look foolish.

no u wont be hated unless u say something like my opioion:

i like floyd..he had great boxing ability but dont think he will make it far in boxing at welter..there are lots of guys that can beat him...and i hope he gets ko'ed out of the rinf by-cotto-KT-Gatti or shambra

floyd vs hatton..i hate them both but would root for PBF

but much respect fot the guy...i dont think he as been fully tested yet tho..for anyone to say he's "great"

floyd could be a bit under rated. most people have bernard hopkins pound for pound (which is fair)but pretty boy may be the most skilled fighter pound for pound there is.

I have to agree, but when you talk about P4P you have to mention Toney

I wouldn't say Floyd was overated at all, he has fought some amazing fights over the years and now has moved up in weight divisions again. There is nobody in the Welterweight division who will have an easy time with him. I like Floyd because he is always willing to please his fans. He stood toe to toe with Demarcus Corley to prove a point to alot of people.

:D Yeah he does, hopefully when he beats Jean Marc Mormeck and Kelvin Davis he fights some people of other weight divisions. I would love to see him fight Tarver or James Toney. I remember a few years ago James Toney was sat commentating on ESPN and he was calling him a bum. I think he could teach Toney some respect, they don't like each other and there is good potential for a fight between them if Wayne is sucessful in my opinion.

I would love a Big Truck Lights Out fight. I think Braithewaite will get past Mormeck and move up to where the real money is.

:D Yeah definatly, the thing i like about Wayne is that he will fight anyone and he's an explosive fighter. His power is awesome for the Cruiserweight division. I hope he does fight Toney because it wouldbe an amazing fight indeed. I don't know who i'd pick in that war.

Yeah...I wonder how long Toney would be able to take his blows. Toney has a great chin, excellent defense, and is a great counterpuncher. Big truck has the awesome power...but one thing I don't know about him is if his chin is solid. I haven't seen that much of him so I haven't really seen him get rocked. From what I hear he's underrated in a lot of other areas too. I would most likely go with James but there would always be the threat of Big Truck scoring the KD's and possibly TKO.

I also think that there would be some great exchanges in that fight. Braithewaite's heavy blows thudding on Toney and JT's accurate shots popping Big Truck inside.

"Big Truck" would KO both Davis and Mormeck in my opnion, but he needs to stay VERY far away from James Toney. Wayne is not sound enought to beat a guy like Toney.

:) Yeah for sure, you've got me all excited now. I cannot wait to see what happens in the future. Have you seen Kelvin Davis? He is an ass who thinks he's a small version of Tyson. Big Truck will knock him over and then reverse back over him. :D I saw him at a press conderence and he was acting all angry trying to be like Tyson, it was so false it made me sick. Norman Stone wanted to fight him. :D

The fight I really want to see is Brathwaite vs O'Niel Bell. Bell has been on a tear and KO'ed Davis recently

Really? I didn't know that, there is some good fight potential in the Cruiserweight division at the moment. Perhaps better fights than any in the heavyweight division.

Norman stone is a penarse, he is always causing trouble, he's worse than what Rock used to be.
I suppose with a fighter like Ruiz though he has to be the knob to get the headlines, as bad as ruiz is he is at least respectful

Too true, John Ruiz seems chllied but i don't like Norman Stone either. He needs to calm down and stop getting angry all the time.

You maybe right but it would be an awesome fight. Big Truck can throw those power punches and i think he could definatly give Toney trouble. It would be explosive and i don't think Toney would stop him.

Godzhand.....I just don't agree. You watch Mayweather, watch the subtle things he does. Technically he is just plain BRILLIANT. He is the best technician in the sport. He is a guy who can stand right in front of his opponent and not get hit. The only time he was unsuccessful was the first time against Jose Luis Castillo....and where is Castillo now?

I think he's overated, i know he beaten some top guys but people think he's unbeatable!!! I can see some guys at 140 beating him!

He's a brilliant fighter but some people think he's superman!!

He is overrated, yet he has to move up 10 lbs from his prime weight to find someone who will beat him? Even when at his prime weight you had a monster like Diego Corrales....I kinda wish he stayed at 130 long enough to beat either Casamayor or Freitas. Then there would be no question in people's minds.

He's got to be the worlds number 1 p4p, i rate a lot higher than Hopkins because of the opponents he has face but my point is some people think he's this unbeatable superman who nobody has a chance against.

If you rate him as p4p number 1, a brilliantly skilled fighter then your not overating him!!

If you think he's unbeatable at any weight you seriously overating him. He's only human and will struggle at 140 and above!! There are a couple of fighters below 140 who would also give him a really tough fight.
