Exige Jr 09-21-2006, 07:54 AM Why spend money on them when there are better though? They are the basic boxing boot, and something that everyone has... be original and get something nobody has, that probably look and feel better anyway. FeelTheA-Force 09-21-2006, 08:42 AM wats wrong with trainers? RonRoss 09-21-2006, 09:20 AM exactly,i just wear trainers, theres not much u can do with a shoe to make it fit into use for just 1 thing if u get me? Exige Jr 09-21-2006, 09:34 AM Both of you will change your mind when you start sparring properly... RonRoss 09-21-2006, 09:38 AM probably, explain 2 me? Exige Jr 09-21-2006, 10:11 AM probably, explain 2 me? Trainers simply dont work. Proper boxing boots give you support throughout your feet and ankles, and when you are doing sharp movements and constant twisting etc, you will see that you need that. Not to mention they are lighter than trainers, and are what you are going to be using in a real amateur bout. So better get used to them early... They are better anyway. RonRoss 09-21-2006, 10:12 AM fair doos :) PunchDrunk 09-21-2006, 10:28 AM Boxers use specific footwear, just like all other athletes. Why? because you'll perform better in something that is designed for the demands of your specific activity. I don't see anything wrong with the Tygun model, if you're just starting out, though. Ringo 09-21-2006, 10:38 AM Anyone have a link to where Tyguns are buyable from non-european distribution centers? The only ones I've found (probably because I didn't look hard enough) are purchasable in pounds... FeelTheA-Force 09-21-2006, 10:43 AM Both of you will change your mind when you start sparring properly... i already do. basket ball trainers are very similar to boxers shoes. and they give the support on the ankle. I have worn all of them, Reyes, Everlast, Ringside, Title, Grant...and more. Tygun is unreal in fit, and quality/durability is unmatched. Buy the Tyguns and you will be pleased. www.titleboxing.com Hunna 09-27-2006, 10:33 AM im just going to buy a pair of adidas tyguns (boxing boots) are they any good? tyguns are nice, i got a pair. only use them for boxing, and nothing else so they looked after properly cos they can wear out quicker if youse them outside boxing. they r nice fit, takes about a week or so of solid training and footwork to get used to them, but apart from that , they are pretty sweet when it comes to quick footwork, prancing, darting and changing angles and i havnt experienced any blisters yet and had mine for over 2 months now! dats right no blisters!!! |
