I hate to admit it, but I don't think I can ever throw a highkick again! The pain I'm feeling now is unbearable. The Dr. said I shouldn't train or do anything for awhile. Have any of you experienced broken toes? How long does it take to heal?

Never broke a toe before, but I've heard rest is what it takes, they can't cast it or anything so it's a waiting game. Good luck and get better quick.

When you do get back into it, tape those mother****ers up.

Tape them up and wait, It will take like 6-8 weeks for it to be 100%. and the doctors can not do anything

Most awkward bone to break IMO...nothing to do about it but wait it out...have had a few of them (4 to be exact) and they can definitely piss you off for a while. tape them up when you get back, even if just for your own piece of mind. It will help keep them strong during first few times back

I broke my pinky toe on my left foot. It was bad. It borke at the middle joint. the outside blade of my pinky toe was touching side by side the outer blade of my foot. that took like 8 months to heal and was irritiating for another year. just tape them up. dont worry, you will be able to kick again. I hurt it a couple times again after kicking elbows and stuff but it gets better. It eventually heals up stiffer, more rigid, and much stronger than it originally was but loses flexibility
