You Are Kidding Right. 18 Is A Fine Time To Start Even For A Futer Professional, You Are Entering Your Prime. Get As Much Experience As You Possibly Can. Most Of The Tournements I've Been To Went On Experience How Many Fights And What Your Record Is. Git Er Done Kid. This Sport Is Beautiful.

its never too late even in your 40's if you want to do it just to keep fit, but now your at a ideal age your body is almost basically done with its changes you will probally bulk out abit at 20 if you train regualy and fit. but yeha right now is a greta time to start your punches will increase dramtically if you start now!

rahman when he was 20
And he started sucking a short time after.

how does rahman suck?
Suck isn't the right word. He fails to live up to his potential and disappoints his fans over and over. Losing to Holyfield. Losing to Ruiz. Failing to train for his first fight with Maskaev. He lacks commitment and dedication.
No, wait, suck was the right word.

For somthing that you are serious about and have a passion for you do what you have got to do. In this case you need to get to the gym and have a skilled trainer work with you on the fundementals, Don't just start hitting a bag that can be on of the worst things you can do. Bad habits develope quickly. You got to find a way look about do some research maybe somebody with some experience lives closer. And could tutor you.

Really? He turned pro at 19 then right?
Somthing like that. You got to remember his olympic success and amateur career before he went pro.
