if i really like an album ill go out and buy it legit. i dunno if you have like sick mp3 quality and a good cd burner, but burned cd's never come out as good for me, and mp3's (like off your ipod or whatever) never really sound as good to me.

plus the actual cd is louder, if you wanna bump it on your car speakers.

I download just about everything, and if I like an album that I download, i buy it. Case in point, I will download the new Beck album the day it leaks, and I'll be at best buy the day it comes out to pick up a copy, probably one for my father as well. Artists that make good music deserve to be paid. I'm glad I download, I was hearing all this hype about Rick Ross, downloaded that and deleted the entire album.

Well, about supporting artists, they make so much money, and like 80% of that money you pay doesn't even go to them. Most artists make millions, unless you're someone that ain't known by the mainstream then I can call that supporting. I also buy a lot of cds, just depends what mood I am in and how much money I have, but it isn't a good habit. I can do so much other **** with my money.

CD's aren't practical. If you're lucky 20 songs a CD. Or several thousand songs on your iPod. Might as well just get a car adapter and it completely replaces the need for a CD IMO.

PS: My aunt purchased a CD for me brother. Damn that was a waste of money. Brother just downloads **** to his iPod. Got that 12 bucks back from Best Buy. Buying CD is a waste IMO.

I called myself supporting Lupe Fiasco by buying his CD and found out I bought a one song album.

This is exactly what I do. Use torrents if you want whole albums. This is what I do. Download a program called Bitlord and then search torrent sites such as Isohunt and download the torrents you want into bitlord.

I still Buy albums from artists that i kinda know are gonna give you some good music. if i suspect even a little influence of corperation,i get a little suspect. but i realize artist need $$$.most artist get dough from shows, and if you sell a million you will mostly likely take home about 80,000.(after laywers, taxes, producers, etc) until your next album, so if you come out in 2 years, you basically make 40 grand per year.i don't wanna complain when an artist gets dropped off the label for low sales. oh and the sound is much better from original cd's, i need my clarity when i bump the sounds.
