They're headlining the first night of the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show.

The bill pretty much sucks, but Audioslave would be worth the $55 alone.

Audioslave
Disturbed
New Found Glory
P.O.D.
Queens of the Stone Age
Sum-41
Taproot
Trust Co.
The Used
Zwan (Billy Corgan's new project)

Tickets go on sale this Saturday, November 30th. They are $55 plus service fees.

Proceeds from night one of the 2002 KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas will benefit these local kid’s and teen charities:

Children of the Night is a privately funded non-profit organization established in 1979. We are dedicated to assisting children between the ages of 11-17 who are sexually abused and forced to prostitute on the streets for food to eat and a place to sleep. Since 1979, we have rescued over 10,000 boys and girls from prostitution. Over 80% of these children have stayed off the street and are not dependent on criminal activity.

Oh yeah...... the show is at the Universal Amphitheater in Universal City, CA... about 10 minutes from me (and half of that drive is making it up the hill to the parking structure).

Whoa. How can you say that bill sucks? That bill rocks the ass of many. Queens of the Stone Age are a sweet band.

Queens of the Stone Age take a little getting used to, but they're the ****. Disturbed are a kickass band. They're supposed to be real good live.

Disturbed = incredible, especially live.

Big disturbed fan here. Been rocking audioslave since dave told me about em. I think it sounds like a good line up myself. Dave is apparently more critical.

Critical is a good way to put it.

It was either critical, or ****face.
Needless to say, I was torn.

Wuss rock, every one of them except Taproot who aren't too bad. Queen's of the Stone Age are the worst thing to happen to music since A New Found Glory, who are also on the ticket. Audioslave would be good if I could tell them apart from every other band in the nineties-2000's.

Metallica owns all of you.

Metallica doesn't own anything or anyone. I can throw in ride the Lightning thru The Black Album and reminisce on how they USED TO own me, but with this country western **** they play these days, it's hard for me to say they own anything other than chrome-plated dildos with each others' names etched onto em.

You know who owns, though? Tool. THAT'S Who ****in owns.
