And he's overrated as hell as a producer. There's a lot of guys behind the scenes that do keys and **** that never get the respect. Also notice everybody says how 2001 was produced by Dr.Dre but it was produced by Mel-Man too. I've never heard Mel-Man get credit for that either...

Dre is a performer, He doesnt write his own lyrics. He has ghost writers, who show him verses, he changes a word or two and raps the ****. He's always done that. I dont think he is overrated, I think he has a formula that is succesful. He gets the best (Storch for Keys) to help him, they worked like a band. Banged out tracks all day Storch said. He has a great ear for music and sound and is killer with his drum loops. He is a dope producer but I wouldnt put him as the best to ever do it...

That's like someone writing a novel and I edit the punctuation and pass it off as my work. If I would have done that **** it college they would have kicked my ass out.

Which Im sure a lot of producers due behind closed doors on some beats. Its just easy to flame a big name guy like Dre.

I wouldn't say he's a fraud but I will say that some producers don't get credit for tracks that they made. Daz has said he made several tracks on The Chronic but received very little to no credit for them.
