IMO, Yoshida does not deserves to be on top of anything, he did not have any MMA fight yet ...

10-31-2002, 05:17 PM
He is very skill athlete of gold medal best in world caliber he is for 100% in top 10. I think also in top 5. When he win Frye then all will see how maybe even top 1

I agree that he is great at judo, we will see him after Frye fight, but remember that to be a number one he will have to take it from the champ.

Someone told me that he is much smaller than Frye, do you know anything about it?

11-01-2002, 03:45 AM
Yoshida was 220 pound for Gracie but now weight is close to 230-240 preparing much more with strength and grappling this time also. sometime forget that grappling part of Judo also but not very much trained but still part of Judo. So training grappling a lot Yoshida is still Judoka and not breaking word to only fight as Judoka.

pretty good list, but i dont agree with coleman!

mine is

hard to say nr 5, but if fedor wins his next fight.. maybe he is in there!
and of course sapp is there.. but thats only cause of his weight that gives him more power!

11-03-2002, 02:13 PM
well pal for me coleman is still an excellent fighter, I wish to see him fighting hearring one day, and about fedor he is good but not at the top five, sapp is the strongest fighter but he has to gain more expirience though.

remco pardoel
11-04-2002, 10:28 AM
Coleman is, was and will be an excellent fighter
that is not the question.....

if barnett trains Sapp he would be used to endless strength.
that promises to be an hard time for herring and noguira

i think so too! and of course coleman is good! but i dont think he could stand a chance vs sapp! coleman is not that good with punches.. and he cant kick! and for a wrestler like coleman its hard to deal with that much power and weight! we all saw what happend to nog! and nog whipped coleman on the ground and standing!

and about fedor im not sure! but he is looking kinda good! and i think he can do even better! the problem is that he may look a little borning! compared to fighters like igor, sapp, sak, silva!

anyway! its hard to tell who is top 5! lot of different opinions!

remco pardoel
11-05-2002, 10:17 AM
if fedor wins he belongs in the top 5
Coleman got mine 5yh place because what he did in the past

[quote="pål johnsen"]i think so too! and of course coleman is good! but i dont think he could stand a chance vs sapp!

dont put away coleman so easy he has been training for a long period of time, he could be a nightmare for sapp.

who knows!! its just what i think.. maybe coleman will murder sapp.... in time we'll see!!
