and your right k-dogg put him above Napoles
:D Tell ya what; if he finishes his career at Welter and does as well as Napoles did or a little better, I'll do that. We just have to wait about 5 or 6 years.
PATO 1 08-21-2006, 01:16 PM yeah maybe pigs start flying aswel
BuddyChacon 08-21-2006, 01:16 PM Your list is great but I would Replace Ceuvas with Tommy Hearns. Well maybe not Ceuvas could have the better list of Welterweight victims. Just a thought. Glad to see you didn't forget Barney Ross or the Barbados Demon.

Hey bro, just because I wasn't around when they were kicking butt doesn't mean they weren't great. ;)
Man, I wish I had a time-machine.
Anyway, Hearns may qualify; but I just feel he was better at 154.
PATO 1 08-21-2006, 01:55 PM hearns over tito

take out felix c'mon man, add kid gavilan or wilfred benitez
K-DOGG 08-21-2006, 02:05 PM Gavilan got a lot of suspect decisions; and Tommy didn't dominate at 147 like Tito did.

I can't believe I didn't notice your two ommissions. I was still impressed.
K-DOGG 08-21-2006, 03:15 PM Buddy, anytime you're dealing with a division such as the welters, where the talent pool has always been thick, one of the hazards is forgetting guys. I'm embarrassed I'd forgotten Basilio and Griffith; but I think that just reflects on the quality of fighters who have always fought at 147.
Rane-Ex54 08-21-2006, 03:22 PM Damn people are still hating on Tito... :(
K-DOGG 08-21-2006, 03:30 PM Personally, I've got no "hate" for Tito....I just don't think he measure up to the men above him in My Top 10. I've got him at #11, if that's any consolidation. :)

Pretty Good list Bobby Chacon had one of the biggest hearts and balls big enough for a lion and should be on the list maybe number 1. I would also put Vargas if I put Ward.
Toddy 08-21-2006, 09:32 PM thanks for the table
