First off, Detox (if it ever drops)...should Dre try to use the same formula as basically both his classic albums (Snoop Dogg, Knoc, Hittman) or will he come out with something different? Which artists should be used in place of Snoop, Knoc, Hittman etc instead?

Secondly, should Nas use an Illmatic-esque formula for his next album or should he use artists on Def Jam's roster? Club/Party beats or pure, raw hip hop? Discuss...

I understand Dre being a producer and not liking how he sounds on a record, but why do rappers need guest spots on over half of their singles anymore?

Nas ought to be able to carry an album on his own...

According to Scratch Magazine the Producers that are supposdley working with Dre (like the way Storch did on 2001) are Denaun Porter, Nottz, Mahogany and Hi-Tek. Im sure their will be more or that will change but those guys helped Dre on tracks for the album that he ended up selling to other MCs.

Some Beats for Original copy of Detox and where they went...

Throwback-Usher (Produced by Just Blaze)
Where Im From- The Game (Produced by Focus)
Higher- The Game (Produced by Dr.Dre)
Runnin- The Game (Produced by Hi-Tek)
In The Club- 50 Cent (Produced by Dr.Dre)
The Set Up- Obie Trice (Produced by Dr.Dre)

Supposdley they are a lot more un named. Dre had those other producers help on Keyboards and give him a new sound he could work with. They just did one parts and he polished and gave the beat that Dre touch.
