after an army of washed up blown ups welters , a shot middleweight to prove how great taylor is ...

is franck warren promoting him , as he looks to have the same carrer plan than ricky hatton.

Good fight for Taylor. I think he stops Joppy late.

Only one guy can hang with Taylor at 160 and thats Hopkins.

The Joppy fight is a joke, this guy was retired a couple months ago! I had a glimmer of hope for Taylor when I heard Sturm and Eastman's names casually being tossed around- but I guess his people are taking the safe road once again. Bottom line: Is Joppy a step up in competition for Jermain? Yes. Is a Taylor victory going to prove to us that Jermain should be mentioned as one of the top three or four guys at middleweight? Definitally not!

Joppy is a slickster, but I think Taylor will be too strong for him. I think its a decent move up. At least people wont be able to say that he was pushed up too soon.

Wow! I must have a 6th sence, I was just watching the Joppy vs Trinidad fight on demand and was wondering who would win if joppy fought DLH. Joppy went 12 rounds vs Hopkins and was ko by trinidad.

I thought he retired to :D but its a step up in competition for Taylor. At least if Taylor wins he could say he beat a real heavyweight fighter. I think Jermain Taylor will be great and Boxing's star in the future.

lol understatement....joppy was knocked down knocked out then knocked the **** outta boxing.
and his fight with hopkins..if joppy had any ambition of winning that night he also would of got ktfo like tito did.
hopkins laid a one sided brutal beating on joppy and he did enough to hang in but never made any attempt to win.

joppy the joker... :D

Why is it regardless of the fact that they post their stories, sometimes days late, they have the balls to write "Remember Where You Heard It First!"

They just posted the news on Castillo-Corrales and it was posted on this site days ago, even before the redesign.
