Who do you have?

I have been a die hard computer gaming fanatic for 10 years now, haven't bought a console system since the genesis. However now with the online capabilities of the consoles, the graphics and gameplay, and the fact that although I haven't paid for a console system in 10 years, of the hundreds of games I have owned on the pc, I probably have only paid for 5 of them. That being harder to do with console gaming systems, it looks like that may be the way to go, especially with the adult oriented games coming out. Computer games could be a dying breed.

Both are awesome. I play some pc games and some console. I am quite diverse. :)

xbox live seem like its some cool ****. that in my eye is where computers had a distinct advantage over console games, mutha****ing online play. but i prefer console games, athough i seem to always end up playing brood war so i like both, i guess. i just wonder how much is microsoft gonna want after the 1st year? it would be cool if it was 50 bucks a year for online play, but i guess the xbox has to make money some how.....

I was talking to coworker about the xbox live. He is playing phatasy star online with his game cube. It costs him 8 bux a month just for that game. So i said will with xbox live you pay 50 bux a year and your done right? He is under the impression that that is just for the online service, games like everquest and such, you will still be susceptible to pay there fee's as well. It could be too expensive to take a hold of just yet, but who knows.

thats for the first year. go check out cnet. the first year subscription is included in the started set. after the 1st year, it could be a monthly fee. i hope there is a microsoft plot to take **** over.....
