In The Heart 08-17-2006, 10:45 AM Im wondering this I gues maybe it would help to pull back the punch? Bicep muscles help a bit with power of your punch which means there taking more damage but if you get bulky then its useless in boxing because you will be too slow meaning you can not let your full power out. You should leave the bicep curls and just stick to hitting the heavy bag and your muscles will come soon enough. NJFighter91 08-17-2006, 02:05 PM Even though the biceps and back are used to pull back the muscle, bicep curls aren't as good for a punch as if doing the punch instead which is more sports specific.
