hey all,
i just found out im going to be travelling and fighting with my collegiate boxing team (part of the ncba)..im pretty sure its same rules as amateur rules..which i am not that familiar with to begin with. Would anyone care to summarize the main rules of amateurs? I know its a point system based on punches landed but can you be knocked down theoretically bunches of times? My main question was what is typically the best strategy/style for these fights because i have observed some of the collegiate fights and the kids just rush you aimlessly and throw all over the place because they are only 4 round fights. Any advice would be appreciated.
