First, it fills up your muscle cells with water and makes you look bigger and more cut. It also makes you a little stronger, because your muscles will be bigger and therefore you'll have more leverage. Your weight will also increase, as you will need to drink a lot of water to see visible muscle gains with creatine and with that water comes weight. Creatine monohydrate is also an ATP precursor, meaning your body uses it to make ATP. ATP is what gives your muscles a rush of energy when you're working out. I'd suggest you google creatine and ATP if you want more information on this. Creatine, FWIW, always made me feel hung-over. It gave me an instant headache whenever I took it and it made me constipated, no matter how much water I drank. I hated it. But it made me look awesome. Vitamins will always help. Unless your parents grow and/or kill all their own food, you are most likely vitamin-deficient. coty 08-14-2006, 05:43 PM where do you live in missori(spelling) i live in Canalou i dont know i was just thinking about taking something to get my hand speed quicker sleazyfellow 08-14-2006, 05:52 PM does enzyte count? lmao NJFighter91 08-14-2006, 05:54 PM I take only a multi and some whey. Fraidy, good post on creatine. I don't think creatine for boxers are good since it's not real mass but more water weight. fraidycat 08-14-2006, 06:14 PM Shadowboxing and drills will make your handspeed quicker. No supplement will. If you're a teenager now, your reflex speed is as fast as it's ever gonna get. I HATE sparring teenagers -- there are a couple of high-schoolers at my gym and they are lightning-quick. As you get older your control will increase, but your reflex speed will go downhill. Dye 08-14-2006, 06:25 PM Anyone ever heard a Boost drink? i drink one every morning along with 5 raw eggs LOL yrrej 08-14-2006, 08:30 PM Calcium, multivitamin with minerals..... coty 08-15-2006, 12:49 PM a boost drink what the hell is that Ringo 08-15-2006, 12:50 PM I took a suppliment called Oxodrol in my last semester of college (this past march) and gained about 13 pounds in 2 months. It was insane. I also ate a ton and trained 5 days a week. When I cycled off of it, I kept about 7 to 8 pounds. Thats a good ratio. Also, my strength increased dramatically. I went from 132 lbs (at 5'9) bench pressing 185 to 145 lbs bench pressing 225 for 3 reps. Please understand, I'm not bragging (because 225 isn't that much), just pointing out how much certain suppliments can boost your strength. If you do your homework, they can be valuable tools to help you out. Only problem is, you don't pass drug tests (for sports) when you take them.
