Can someone help me out with this, a site refrence or something. Mainly when I ask this I mean about the affect boxing has on the body and why and what areas hurt more when punched, (I already know about the liver and kidneys even though kidneys are illgeal blows.)

I whacked a guy in the kidney last week by driving a short, heavy hook straight into the midline, exactly halfway back. It was a legal hit, and it lit his kidney up and folded him in half just like an illegal kidney punch would. You can get in there if you really drive it, and feint his hands out of the way first. I had weaved under a left hook, and came up with my elbow on my hip and spun into him.

Knowing now how bad it ****ed him up, I wouldn't throw that punch on anyone I actually like, or anyone whom I intend to remain friends with outside the ring. I had no idea it would hurt him that bad. I'll save it for the heavy bag and for competition.

Kidneys are not illegal areas unless punched from the back.

i've heard of lots of guys getting permanent damage from hard ass kidney shots, probably liver too...if u piss blood for more than a couple days after, u've probably taken some heavy damage. also repeated bruising of certain areas can really **** someone up - damage thier internal organs and such
