The pacific fighters are being avoided like the plague.

Winky Wright in my opinion because his defensive fighting skills are awesome. An overall effective dangerous fighter who will frustrate you with his style and defend most punches on his long forearms. Winky is the kind of guy who will fight anyone but not everyone will fight him. I admire him alot because he isn't a big puncher so he utilises his other assets well.

A year ago....Juan Manuel Marquez would have topped many folks' lists here.
But....in light of his reluctance to face Pac, he's far removed.

1-danny green-no comment you guys know why...and he hit toney good a couple of times also while sparring

2-antoino margarito (even santos could ko him wieghting 10 pound more and was still rocked by this guy..and didnt wanna give him a rematch

Ikeke is an excellent one. Not many guys think of him. Danny Green is good too. Kelvin Davis and Braithwaite at cruiser, but especially Davis. No one's calling out Joan Guzman or Rafael Marquez, either. At flyweight, Irene Pacheco is the exact opposite. He's the only champ who doesn't fight anyone. And when I say doesn't fight anyone, I mean anyone with a pulse. Seriously, he's one of the most inactive tilists around. And he doesn't seem to want anything more than to remain inactive. Which irritates me.

Thats funny cause everything I have ever heard says Marquez/Pac 2 is going to happen early next year. This has been reported a million times and Pac fans just choose to ignore it.

I think green is definetely up there, along with Pacquio, but another fighter downunder, what about Paul Briggs, I know alot of the people around here don't like him, but hey, he has been a top contender after a title shot for a while now.

These guys bring no money and lots of risk, many fighters think they are too much risk and wont even fight them for a belt.

Yeah Manny is still the avoided one though not by Marquez as of yet...The fight is scheduled for next year, provided Marquez doesn't take a flight off planet earth to avoid it. Manny is still being avoided by any other featherweight though so he still is up there. Without a doubt Winky, gotta give Shane respect for that. Let's see, In Jin Chi as well. He's one durable fighter and that's one reason alone many don't want to face him. That's all I can think of right now.
