i do not get to watch much tv. i generally have to record what few shows i like then i watch them after my son goes to bed. however with the baby coming, i will be up several times for the marathon feeding thing. i will have lots of tv viewing time. lol!

First question is what tv shows do you already watch and will resume in the fall?

Second question is have any of you paid attention to what new shows will be coming that look intersting?

i've only seen one preview for a new show. it's on NBC and is called Heroes. it's kinda comic-book meets the 4400. if i like it, you can be assured that it will be cancelled after the first season. every show i watch and like during it's first season gets cancelled. :(

I don't watch much current TV, I've taken up the DVDs of older series craze. For current shows, I watch CSI (the Las Vegas show) and Veronica Mars. Veronica Mars is a very well written show with witty dialogue, a good supporting cast and a very strong female lead. This fall will be the third season, you can get the first season on DVD. The first season had a great season long mystery revolving around who killed her best friend, building to a season finale, which was very impressive.

Do you have cable? What about channels like Showtime and HBO?

I like the CSI's. L.V. is the best but N.Y. gets better and better every episode. Miami is okay but I am not a big fan of David Caruso.

24 is great but that wont start back up until January.

That show "Angela's Eyes" looks rediculous. I don't watch it, but I saw a clip on Best Week Ever were she was getting it on with some dude, and she deduced from the PICTURES OF HIM AND HIS WIFE that he is married. But she did him anyway, so I don't see how that mattered.

If you have one, just listen to music on your mp3 player when you are feeding your son. It will calm you down and you will not disturb your husband's sleep while listening to music.

Lost is an amazing show. Its very well written. Desperate Housewives is another good one. That about the only two shows I actually watch week in and week out. I actually watched the whole season of Big Love a week or so ago. I found it interesting. You can watch the whole season on HBO In demand. I might pick up the Prison Break DVD since a lot of my friends reccomend it.

Even though it's not a current series, I've been really enjoying Dallas now that they putting it out on DVD. I used to watch the show when I was a kid. It was always fun speculating what tricks JR Ewing had up his sleeve. The show had some great dialogue (most of the time involving JR)and usually a fight every two or three episodes. I watched it until it ended in '91 and had a long break from the show but now with the DVDs coming out I'm rediscovering it and seeing all of the show I never got to see originally. They are up to Season Five as far as putting them out on DVD and I picked that up a few days ago and am already almost halfway done with the season it is so fun. I can think of many worse ways to kill time that watching Dallas.

Yeah, Degrassi wow, I like the show but none of my friends or even people I talk with know the show except from my descriptions. To one of my friends I described it as "Saved By The Bell Meets Oz". It's an interesting show with some very lighthearted moments and very dark moments dealing with issues such as rape and school shootings. When I was a kid, I used to watch the original Degrassi Junior High and then Degrassi High. Now it's on Degrassi:The Next Generation.

I've seen the first 3 seasons of Degrassi: The Next Generation. The quality is too rough on the myspace download page, only 3 years are on DVD - and I just have to watch them in order.

Both series are phenomenally superior to any other teen dramas being produced

And the original Degrassi was "ahead of its time" to the point that it was controversial and some episodes didn't even make it, at least uncut, to American public TV...

Last night I picked up The Incredible Hulk Season One on Dvd, one of my favorite shows as a kid. The first regular episode of the series (after the pilot and the other TV movie) features Martin Kove as a boxer with the nickname "Rocky" (this was in 1978), who saves David Banner from a mugging and gets him a job at his boxing gym where the owner is a sleazy drug dealer. That was a very good episode. I would highly recommend picking up the DVD if you're looking for a good show to watch. It's always fun to see the Hulk throwing the bad guys around in slow motion.

Its all about Mr Magee, and his obsession with the Hulk. That was an intersting one.

I think David Banner must of been married at least three times in that series. And didnt all three of them die?

I've seen most of the episodes but I saw them many years ago until I got this DVD. I vaguely remember that episode though. The Hulk is definitely a sad show, the music certainly set a tone and that pilot episode is very depressing.

But sad in a good way.

Remember the epidsode with Kim Ctarell from Sex in the City. It had somthing to do ewith cavemen i think.

It's been so long since I've seen most of the episodes but I had a big crush on Kim Cattrall (who turns 50 today!) dating back from Big Trouble in Little China so I look forward to catching that episode. I think the Hulk benefitted not just from Bixby's great performance but also Kenneth Johnson's writing. I looked him on imdb.com and he also did V and Six Million Dollar Man (another great show which needs to be out on DVD  ).

there are VERY few tv shows that i actually like. plus, my boy keeps me busy enough that i never really get to watch a whole prgram on TV. however, with him entering pre-school and his schedule changing -
he goes to bed much earlier and i am finding that i actually have some time now. plus, with the baby coming, i am gonna have lots of time. lol! i never could do the constant late night feedings in a dark room. i would fall asleep. i prefer to be in the living room in my big lazy boy rocker/recliner, snuggling and feeding the baby while i watch tv with the sound down low.
