View Full Version : Frank V Tito...who would win rematch?

fantasy fight time here folks...lets say that this classic fight could have a rematch in say 8 months from now...
Tito has just come off of beating Ken pretty convincingly...is on top of the World in his weight class...needs a good challenge
Frank has had a long lay off, is remembered as possibly the greatest MMA competitor yet...
So it has come to this. 5x5 minute rounds...
Who is your pick?
Tito has matured a lot since last time against Frank and has risen from the pack to be seen as a top 3 fighter in the world at any weight...
Frank more or less semi retired as a legend of the sport...
Frank may need more than 8 months, I'd like to see 2 warmup fights before. But Frank would win again!

Fair call, lets give him 14 months...two warm up fights against decent competition...

Tito by total ownage now. Remember that he owned Frank for essentially the entire fight the first time, cept he gassed at the end.
Tito was barely breathing between rounds when he beat Ken.

I wouldnt say that Tito was owning Frank in there first fight, but I do agree Tito was controlling most of the fight, if Frank waited 14 months or so and had a few warm up matches against good contenders I can see him giving Tito some problems but I will go with Tito for now.......

Uuuuuuffffff.... HArd question!!! Tito is in a great moment, but how said HockeyFighter: "Frank is Frank". He would win!!

Frank is Frank, enough said. Pound for pound he is the best in the biz. you're right Tito is at a high right now, but it's not like Frank has been sitting on his couch since their last fight, the man has been training, teaching, fighting, just not on national TV. Frank would still win.

Tito. Too big, too strong, much better wind now, much better striking.

So far 8-4 Tito's way...
I voted for Tito as I think his ring conditioning would be better right now and his improvement since they last fought has been quite large.
Also, am I wrong in thinking that Frank has said in the past that Ken would beat him (Frank)?

Frank is one of the toughest men alive, but after seing Tito dominate Ken its hard to bet against him right now.

I am from the old school. I picked Ken to win. However, the way Tito won, I would have to say Tito would win. I guess it is time to pass the torch to the the new breed. They are better, physically and mentally(hungry). IMO

If Frank has been trainnig and fighting like said Big_Papa, I'm sure Frank would win, in my opinion he has more recourses than Tito...
