Now THATS impressive ;) Southpaw Stinger 08-08-2006, 04:34 PM Go for 1000 pushups and 500 pullups. Now THATS impressive It's also easy! NJFighter91 08-08-2006, 04:38 PM It's also easy! No, no, no. I meant one armed. Of course 1000 regular pushups is easy :p Southpaw Stinger 08-08-2006, 05:09 PM No, no, no. I meant one armed Oh I see, I'll get back to you on that one. Dan23 08-08-2006, 07:32 PM what the hell are press-ups??? NJFighter91 08-08-2006, 08:08 PM what the hell are press-ups???Pushups. In the UK they call them pressups though. :boxing: SquareCircle 08-09-2006, 05:12 PM do em explosively if you want maximum benefit to boxing even if it means comin off a few reps per set...its worth it. ..every rep...full force explosiveness. platinummatt 08-09-2006, 06:39 PM I did about 40 pullups and 50 - 60 pressups. I could have done more but didnt do enough. We call them both pressups and pushups. yeh I should do more explosives NJFighter91 08-10-2006, 06:25 PM If you're working on explosiveness, work on clap pushups concentrating on more hiehgt while doing less pushups. Like 3x10 but focusing on the height and speed. SquareCircle 08-11-2006, 09:48 AM thats what i do. i do sets of 10 claps and at the end i finish off with as many regular pushups i can do as explosive as i can do em. talk about wear you out after a few sets. yrrej 08-12-2006, 10:09 PM Kimura did 1000 push-ups a day.
