I'm a huge Eazy-E fan and I was just wondering what do people on this forum think of him.

I dislike him and his music, Cube wrote his **** for his most popular album. I also find it hard to believe that he wrote all of his own **** after Cube and him split, I would have to think other people ghostwrote his albums past then. Id rather listen to Dr.Dre or Ice Cube albums any day of Eazy E's.

I like Eazy's image and his role in NWA. Eazy-Duz-It is a classic album for sure.

Post-NWA he was more misses than hits, but I still liked some of his later singles including "Just Tah Let You Know", "Luv 4 Dem Gangstas", "Gimme that Nutt", "Merry Motha****in' Christmas" and the Dre disses...

Dre and Snoop didn't rip him what so ever, listen to Real Muthaphuckin G's and then listen to Dre Day, Eazy rips the **** out of him and Snoop and all Dre said was that Eazy had gap teeth.

"ya like a kid ya found a pup and now yer dapper, but tell me where the **** ya found ya found an anorexic rapper"

"damn E, they tried to fade you on Dre Day
But Dre Day only met Eazy's pay day[/B"

"all of a sudden Dr Dre is a [B]G thang, but on his
old album cover he was a she thang"

"ain't broke a law in yer life, yet every time you rap
you yap about the guns and knifes"

"Dr Dre an Snoop Dogy Dogg are ****in actors
pranksters, studio gangsters, busters
but this time yer dealin with some real mother****ers"

"Damn it's a trip
how a ***** could switch so quick from wearin lipstick
to smokin on Chronic at picnics"

I think that Raesaad said it best. The guy was a great performer. I always get a kick out of listening to his funny ass voice and fake gangster lyrics. He's one of the funniest performers in rap. His delivery is classic.

NWA's reunion failed after Eazy's death, but I think eventually Dre and Eazy would have squashed their beef and they would have recorded together again...

Classic Eazy. This is one of his most memorable verses to me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps38K4rwslM

Still, Eazy ended up putting Dre's name in the title of his album - that shows that Dre got the best of it - a couple clever jabs on an otherwise memorable album, Eazy was reduced to making it blatant and more childish.

Quick, name another single off that disc... I can think of a few, but nothing that ever gets played anymore. Even Gimme that Nutt was something that he would have rapped in 1988; Eazy didn't evolve like Dre did

The Chronic was a step down from efil4zaggin?
absolutely. g-funk was the worst era of hip-hop.
*****z4life was a great n.w.a album.

You're either playing devil's advocate, or your opinion just doesn't coincide with most critics. Either way, I will just respectfully say that I disagree intensely...
