It promotes ignorance.

When used in the right context, I think its fine. It is a part of history. I dont agree, though, when its use is misconstrued to be a racial issue.

For instance, if you have no general knowledge of what it stood for, but you know that now it equates to insulting another race, then you should be shot and have your organs farmed to help some other more intelligent person.

I agree with Allison.

It is as much of a part of history as the stars and stripes. Whether we want to admit it or not- our ancestors fought and died under that flag. For a liberal yankee (or a southern black person) to argue that point is crazy. Don't get me wrong- I don't fly one or anything like that, but I am in South Carolina and this is where all of that fuss is over the flag. The NAACP has boycotted our state....I say good- stay out.

I couldn't agree more. Thanks for sharing Blake.

Eddy Rolon opened up a new Gym in Lodi, BTW. I went there with my cousin... I go back to training in a couple of weeks.

Eddye Rolon is probably the best trainer I have ever train with.

Not for a while, I need to get in shape, Curls. Pretty soon if I start to feel better... Most of the people with Rolon go to Grapplers Quest.

I was just thinking about that today. The guy is an excellent instructor. Too bad I still can't afford it.

FYI I told you about the gym in Lodi a few months ago.

cool, good luck. I might be doing a BJJ tournament after I heal up just to see what it's like. I suck at BJJ but it looks fun. I just hope I don't punch anyone.

Since I am about 20 pounds lighter than about 12 monthss ago I am not used to being this light. I got thrown around like a freaking doll for the first hour.
Being lighter sucks donkey balls... My cousin weights 160 and Eddy hip threw him... he landed about 6 feet from Eddy, no joke.

Eddy's like a rock. I couldn't do a damn thing to him. But I did learn alot of valuable techniques from him.

I took him down, son. He told me that when he went to trian with team Quest he took Randy Couture once, started giggling like a little girl.

That's weird. I dropped 10 lbs and feel stronger rolling with guys my weight. I was at 155 and now at 145 (fight weights) and I do good against 145 lbs guys.

If I took Couture down from the clinch I'd probably scream like I just won the UFC title.

what does the confederate flag have to do with BJJ, MT or Grappling?
