A friend of my injured his leg, he can't run, or use the bike machines. He needs to lose some weight, because of his injury he gained a few pounds, but his leg will take some more time to heal.

Any advice on things he can do not involving running? I suggested hitting the heavybag, in a cardio work out, anything else?

Tell him to do something about his diet! You can't lose weight if you don't eat right.

Thanks for the advice. No it is not me...

It's a partly-fractured bone.
