Yeah, it's supposedly a giant prehistoric sloth, which convention tells us died out about the same time as the Wooly Mammoth.

Yeah; but I saw a special on it a few years ago and the scientists they interviewed said given the density of the rain forrest, it's not impossible for this creature to be real....kind of like the dinosaur that's been spotted in the Congo/Zaire River in Africa.
