That while sitting here posting, some of the posts in this very Hip Hop forum, I have listened tonight to some pansy ass ****. While Chaka Khan is currently playing, Ace of Base, Leann Rimes, Mariah Carey, Marvin Gaye, Phil Collins, Christina Aguilera, Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville, Michael McDonald, Louis Armstrong and His Orchestra, and R. Kelly are all on my "Recently played" list. I also have some metal, some soft rock, a little country (ballads mainly), other R&B, other pop, classic rock, and alternative rock music on my computer and in my CD collection. Hell, I listen to Enya sometimes...

What other genres of music do you guys listen to and is hip-hop even what you listen to the most?

Not really other genres besides RnB. I like some other musicians. I like Linkin Park and Maroon 5 and some Green Day.

Like Elton John.

PS: Damn Neils, Chaka Khan's "Feel For You" is my song right now. Like how she put rap into it. Unfortunately, she's a republican.

I like blues and Jazz because that's classy.

Saadiq and TTT are some of the most underrated artists ever. Anniversary is always on my iPod and their song Diary with Alicia Keys is great too.

Still Ray is a great song off Saadiq's last album.

D'Angelo has always been solid. His collabo with Primo on Devil's Pie is a favorite too.

Too bad he releases an album every 5 years.

Mary's vocals aren't the greatest (in fact shes been booed off stage at the Apollo) but you can feel her pain in her singing like her songs are autobiographical. Some of my favorite songs by her are 7 days, your child, all that I can say, be happy, im going down, not gon' cry.

She's still my favorite vocalist now, for nearly 10 years BTW.

I've got some singles scattered from that disc. Still have Share My World and I have her myspace page as a friend so I play whatever's on her page too, including the new singles.

My girlfriend just moved in; my computer's a tad limited - when we get her Internet hooked up, I'll have to go on the Limewire she has loaded and DL her whole library...

I'm actually watching the new Degrassi too - I started late and I HAVE TO WATCH THEM IN ORDER

So I've seen Seasons 1-3 on DVD. There's a myspace fan page that has links to every episode ever made, but the quality is kind of rough, so I've only seen one episode into season 4. It would be nice to catch up by October so I could start watching new episodes...

Joey Jeremiah is the **** in School's Out too, man. Dude has a nude scene, takes both Tessa and Caitlin's virginity, clowns Snake and stays out of Wheels' car in time to avoid the accident...

My favorite band of all-time is the Dave Matthews Band. I have been a fan since I was in 3rd grade...

My first love is R&B. I like all kinds of old soul and R&B classics...I like random 80's music. Classic rock is good, I like some Lo-Fi electronica **** occassionally. Random stuff like Kings of Convenience, Zero 7, Beck, etc.

Hip-Hop is not what I listen to most, but I do regard the genre as legitimate, and consider some albums, and artists from it as brilliant.
The Rock genre is probably most of what I listen to:

AC/DC, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Guns N’ Roses, Led Zeppelin, Scorpions, Van Halen, Kiss, Ozzy Osbourne, Queen, Bob Seger, Motley Crue, ZZ Top, John Mellencamp, Slayer, Metallica, Sepultura, Opeth, Alice In Chains, Faith No More, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, White Zombie, Journey, Heart, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down, Van Morrison, The Police, Supertramp, Prince, Slaughter, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Collective Soul, The Goo Goo Dolls, Live, Matchbox Twenty, No Doubt, The Offspring, Alanis Morissette, Korn, R.E.M., Hootie & The Blowfish, Dave Matthews Band, Enya, Gin Blossoms, Jewel, Jackson Browne, Pink Floyd, Mariah, Carey, Duran Duran, Michael Jackson, Ace Of Base, Christina Aquilera, Backstreet Boys, Blondie, Madonna, Janet Jackson, ABBA, Hall & Oates, Elton John, The Beach Boys, The Cars, Chicago, Phil Collins, Journey, Neil Diamond, Fleetwood Mac, Celine Dion, Air Supply, Michael Bolton, Boyz II Men, Roxette, Jennifer Warnes, Lionel Richie, Joan Jett, UB 40, Quiet Riot, Eurythmics, The Carpenters, Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, Soundgarden, U2, Joe Jackson, The Smashing Pumpkins, Depeche Mode, Garbage, and about 30, or 40 more I probably left out.

I also listen to R&B, Rap, Country, and some Classical.
