whats a burpee?

I've been doing burpees for a few months now and they make a difference. Probably the best single exercise I do besides shadowboxing and hitting the bag. I've seen them described as a squat thrust with a jump. Here's a link showing you how to do them.

the best way to lose weight via excersise is cardiovascular, so pick up on: running, swimming, biking, stairs, some kind of excersise that will really get your heart pumping and you out of breath...so keep to an aerobic workout....

diet wise: cut out fast food, soda, sweets, and eat 5-6 smalls meals instead of 3 large ones so your metabolism is constantly working... also try to drink about 2 or more quarts of water a day and eat before 7 at night when your metabolism slows...

about the losing weight, it's not just about power, you shouldn't worry about that at all. just lose the weight and get into shape, only advice i can give from the pictures. as a matter of fact, you will probably have more power behind your punches after getting in shape.

yeah its just a matter of your muscular and cardio stamina, the more you practice this, and if practiced hard, you will improve

remember: "practice makes perfect" probably the most honest thing in boxing, and most any sport

yeah dude, if your in there giving it what you got in the gym then ignore these clowns with there negative comments. Your in there trying and their in here acting like they know whats up.

With the mitts, learn to relax and learn to breathe more importantly. Cant fight with no oxygen getting in your system.

Keep it up man and let us know how its rollin' for ya. Let the clowns do their thing, which is nothing, and keep doing yours, In time you will show them whats up with hard work.

He who bleeds with me in the ring is my brother!
