Problem is the chains that the bag came with were too long...so I did a loop near the top since the chain doesn't seem to detach from anywhere. That raised it a bit, but it's still 6" too low and I cant loop it again.

Any glaring oversighs on this or tips from you guys? I need to raise it 6" and the only option I see is setting the stand on 6" of mat or something....there must be a better way...

Put the stand on blocks

Take your D-Ring and hook it directly to your swivel and then hook it to your eye that's in the stand. Do away with the extra chain.
